Ciara Gilmore is a painter from Belfast, based in Northern Ireland. Entirely self-taught, she began her creative journey working with textiles before discovering her passion for abstract expressionism.

Her work is driven by intuition, allowing emotion and energy to guide the creative process. Gilmore’s paintings possess a dreamlike quality, achieved through expressive textures and the use of rich colours and metallic paints. Her work has been exhibited throughout Ireland and is held in both public and private collections internationally.
