Igor Taritas is a Croatian visual artist based in Croatia and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (2013). His paintings depict empty urban spaces inspired a surreal and melancholic atmosphere.

Using perspective, geometry and layered surfaces, Taritas constructs compositions that suggest both physical and psychological space. His interiors are stripped of non-essential elements, while exterior scenes often feature modern architecture and abandoned structures. Through scraping, colour drips and stained surfaces, he creates spaces that feel real. His work has been exhibited in Austria, Croatia and Italy.
