Wojtek Rook

Wojtek Rook is a Polish visual artist who works primarily in oil on canvas. Trained in painting and photography, he combines academic realism with expressive brushwork to convey narrative depth and emotion. His figures and scenes are rendered with technical precision, while his use of rich, vibrant colour unifies each composition and allows individual forms to stand out with clarity and presence.

Rook explores themes of identity, human experience and social concerns, often highlighting personal and collective narratives. His work spans portraiture, figurative compositions and conceptual series such as the Migrant Series, which reflects on the stages of the migrant journey. He has exhibited across Europe, including solo shows in Poland and Sweden, and his work is held in both private and public collections.
