We are pleased to present 'Floating an Idea' a solo exhibition featuring a new body of work by Ireland's much loved artist Jimmy Lawlor. The dreamlike and humorous balance of his work shifts from piece to piece in this exciting new collection. Jimmy Lawlor takes elements of his surroundings and mixes them with the people of a place. The humour of the people, the gentle mannerisms that he perceives, the history in their faces and the sparkle in their eyes that belies their age, all of these are the inspiration for his work.
